                                          The Undocumented in America I have a friend who is undocumented.  She work as a care giver in a developmental facility.  Her employer applied for a labor certification when she came here in America so she can works in a care facility.  It took five years to be approved.  When it was granted to her employer,  She was able  to  apply for petition for alien worker.   It was approved,  but then when she was about to adjust her status,  according to her  lawyer she will not be able to get her green card since  she was already out of status and she needs to wait for an amnesty. My friend  is heart broken.  The Republican accuses them of taking advantage of the government.  Getting free stuff.   In fact undocumented contributes in social security without getting any ...
